Inky dark garnet colour with a lighter hue. Some new oak and roasted notes, ripe dark fruit, some balsamic notes, wild herbs and tar. The palate is dense and structured, rich in tannin yet balanced without hard edges, a fresh acidity underneath with spicy dark berry flavours and a long finish.
