Rather dark ruby core with a purple hue. Youthful nose of dark fruit like cassis, plum, blackberry with aromatic herbs, aniseed and some new wood. Really dense and fleshy palate with high concentration but moderate extraction, supple dark fruit, nicely hidden oak and a fine spiciness, long and fleshy finish, should develop well but drinks well already.
