Dark ruby red with a purple hue. Young nose offering ripe fruit, plum, crushed berries, some new oak and tobacco. The palate is dense and chewy with modern dark fruit, plum, cassis, some roasted flavours and a long, rich finish, still youthful but fine material for ageing. A very good wine.
