France,
Alsace,
Medium deep golden colour. Pretty evolved already. Fine nose here good purity. It is displaying floral notes. Then a lot of fruitiness, reminiscent of mainly yellow stone fruit, such as peach, apricot and yellow plum. There is also some herbal floral notes, like white flower, chamomile. Lots of expression, even though it feels fairly youthful. Good grip on the palate. I think this is another fine example of Riesling and Alsace I should say. That shows this combination of lushness and really ripe almost tropical fruit. Yet it has this restraint on the palate giving that mouth-watering acidity cleansing sensation. Really powerful wine. I mean in terms of structure, it is big and bold. Yet, really crisp on the finish. Delicious today, but obviously with this potential and structure, it should go on for 5, 10, 15 years depending on what style you like. Really long and lingering finish. So a bloody good wine.
