Mas d’Amile – Vieux Carignan – 2014

Dark ruby red colour. Intense nose, slightly rustic with some animal and brettanomyces notes with dark fruit and spice box. The palate has medium weight, fresh acidity, juicy red fruit, mild tannin and spicy leathery notes, it certainly has some charm and character with good length, it’s a matter of tolerance for brettanomyces I suppose.
