France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Medium deep ruby red colour, quite youthful appearance. Quite shy on the nose at first, pure, with red berries and plum, no noticeable oak. Quite light on the palate, light towards medium weight I would say, it has a certain weight on the finish and a certain length as well. Rather on the red fruity side with sour red cherry, plum; there’s a slight hint of pepper, and some herbal spiciness. Very gentle oak in the background. Well-kept freshness, modern vinification, nicely rounded with a quite juicy and supple texture. A wine for fairly early drinking, however it could still round off the edges with an additional year in the cellar or so.
