Inky dense core with a purple hue and lighter rim. Intense nose offering ripe dark fruit, crème de cassis, leather, tobacco, mint, pepper and a mild note of oak. The palate is dense and vigorous with a backbone of ripe tannin, spicy dark fruit, lush and powerful with a long finish and plenty of character.
