Masi – Costasera – 2012

Dark ruby with a purple hue. Mature nose, some vanilla and new wood with dark fruit, dried cherry, tobacco and peppery notes. The palate has medium to full body, some sweetness, dark fruit with a balanced bitterness, fine tannin, fresh acidity and notes of liquorice. Quite long finish with warmth and a gentle sweetness.
