Maslauris – L’Inopiné – 2016

Inky dark purple colour. Fragrant and spicy nose of dark fruit like blackberry, cassis, clove, pepper, some new oak and meaty notes. The palate is dense almost massive but balanced with modest extraction, fresh dark fruit, crushed blackberry sprinkled with pepper, clove and cinnamon and a long, vigorous finish. Fine potential here.
