Medium to deep purple colour. Sweet nose of jammed berries, kirsch and gingerbread spice. The palate is medium bodied a bit tight and tannic with a youthful acidity, restrained fruit and a medium to long, slightly dry finish. A bit on the extracted side today needing further ageing.
