France,
Champagne,
Bright colour, medium to deep straw. Approaching light golden with a youthful vivid mousse. Very vinous on the nose. There are some hints of the ageing on the lees. With some bread, brioche, roasted nuts. On top of that, it is mostly Chardonnay driven fruit, like stone fruits, peach, apricot, fresh pineapple and lemon. Good grip on the palate. I think this is quite full-bodied for a Champagne. However, it is really bone-dry. Nicely firm and fresh with a mouth-watering acidity. Good creaminess on the palate. Quite long lasting and lingering finish. Good length, good grip, with some of those really vinous notes, with white flower and juicy stone fruit. Really nice drink now. I really like that for its zesty freshness but it should have the potential to go on as well.
