Michele Chiarlo – Cerequio – 2012
Barolo

Italy,
Piedmont,
Developed ruby red colour with a lighter rim. Bright and floral dark fruit on the nose, plum, cherry and cassis with discreet wood and notes of cigar box. The palate is dense and concentrated with good proportions, high tannin but well distributed, fresh dark berry fruit and a fine spiciness. Very good length, still youthful having a lot to come but a fine wine with both power and elegance to put back in your cellar for a while.
