France,
Burgundy,
Very youthful appearance here, slightly blue-purple hue. Moderate colour intensity. Pure nose, very youthful with a good notion of fresh berry fruit, like raspberry, blackberry, freshly crushed. Very mild spiciness. No indication of oak. Very juicy and tempting. I like the taste a lot which is rather medium-bodied, with a quite soft texture. Tannins are already integrated. Very bright freshness. I think this one is nicely combining ripeness and freshness. With both red and darker berries, that zesty bite on the palate with some fresh zesty notes of grapefruit. Then a lot of those berries with a mild spiciness. No indication of oak. Quite long on the finish. This is certainly a wine that is quite delicious to drink now. Really what I would call a vin de plaisir. It should have the potential for development over the coming three, four, five years for sure.
