Moulin à Vent

France,
Beaujolais,
Light to medium deep ruby-red. A certain evolution on the rim. The nose is showing mostly fruit driven. No indication of oak. More in the direction of red fruit, some floral hints as well. Some dried spices like pepper and clove. Quite light bodied on the palate. More of a subtle and fruity vinification. Absence of oak, with juicy red fruit. The direction of cherry and plum. There is still a slight tannic bite, however, integrated at this stage. Some spiciness reminiscent of ginger. Pleasurable and rounded style, I would say with good freshness. Not really young. There is some evolution here, so I think it is a good time to drink it. Medium towards long finish.
