Mature ruby red colour with a tawny rim. Mature and complex aromas of dried fruit like fig, prune, some balsamic notes, mild oak, tobacco, clove and smoked meat. The palate is younger than the nose indicates, supple and flavour intense, still with vivid but rounded tannin, long and spicy finish. Mature and complex with fine drinkability today.
