Mongioia – Crivella – 2003

Deep golden colour and perhaps a slight hint of co2 at first. Ripe and mature nose of candied fruit, honey, sweet grapes, pastry and some creamy notes. The palate has rather light body but fine flavour intensity, sweet and caressing with mellow acidity, a very slight hint of bubbles on the finish. Yet complex and harmonious despite the age, slightly unexpected for the category.
