Chile,
Aconcagua Valley,
Quite light colour here, light to medium ruby-red, quite transparent. Fine nose, quite delicate. More a cool climate style here. Clearly resembling quite classic Pinot Noir, I would say with more red fruity notes such as strawberry, raspberry, also with a slight notion of minerality. There are some earthy and spicy notes, such as ginger, liquorice roots and quite discreet oak. The palate has a light to medium weight. Quite soft and subtle texture. I like this juiciness of sweet red fruit, which is underlined by a quite fresh acidity. Very discreet oak. Some orange peel, ginger and plum on the finish, which lasts quite long. Not super expansive, but I think it is a wine, despite its youth, is already attractive, juicy and digest. Displaying a quite nice example of more cool climate Pinot Noir. Good.
