Brilliant light golden colour. Intense nose, some new oak, roasted nuts, a hint of smoke, yellow fruit and ripe citrus. Very fresh bite on the palate with medium weight, intense flavour, crisp yellow fruit, some earthy asparagus/ginger/liquorice notes, well integrated oak and a long, lingering aftertaste. Flamboyant and expressive nose but more restraint and precision on the palate.
