Chile,
Itata Valley,
Medium-high colour intensity. Still appears youthful, as there is a purple colour shine to it, but not a lot of depth in terms of colour. Quite a nice nose here. I think this is what I would call a rather Southern French style. With sweet fruit like, plum, wild berries, with some wild herbs and sweet spicy notes. More on the primary fruit, because there is not really a lot of oak making itself heard here. Very nice palate. I like this. It is well rounded, it is soft and subtle. With tonnes of juicy fruit. Still very youthful, so it really tastes like it has this infusion of freshly crushed berries. Light-medium weight, moderate length. I think digest, fresh and charming. In a quite discreet, well I shouldn't say discreet, but rather restrained cool climate style.
