Dark purple core. Intense nose, roasted oak, mocha, sweet dark fruit, blackberry and kirsch. High ripeness on the palate yet with some freshness and young grainy tannin, sweet berries, creme de cassis and some oak spiciness. Dense and vigorous finish, very long, a big and bold wine just starting to come around it seems, plenty of stuffing should continue to improve.
