Inky impenetrable purple colour. Rather discreet nose at first, cassis, dark plum and cherry with mild oak and gingerbread spices. The palate is on the fuller side with a good bite, grainy tannin, peppery and spicy notes with layered fruit and a long, finely peppery finish.
