Inky dark core with a mature rim. Fine nose offering tobacco, cassis, wild berries, fine oak and some spicy notes. Dense palate with youthful but ripe tannin, layers of dark fruit with a fresh backbone, mild oak and butterscotch with a long lingering finish. Nicely built.
