Dark ruby colour with some development and a lighter rim. The nose offers ripe dark fruit, some violet notes, plum, dark cherry, chocolate, some new oak and aniseed. The palate is dense and full, however with a texture starting to soften, grainy tannin, nice dark fruit, dense and muscular with some hints of black truffle, smoke and liquorice, complex and long on the finish, well integrated oak, has good drinkability now but should surely develop very well.
