Dense dark purple colour with a light evolution on the rim. The nose is pure and intense with some maturity and complexity, ripe dark fruit with blackberry, cherry and plum with violet, tobacco, truffle, fine oak, mild spices and a refreshing herbal/sage spiciness. The palate is very dense and concentrated with nice proportions, plenty of fine grainy tannin, lush dark fruit, an approaching complexity with fine spices, well-integrated oak and a very long dense finish. Great stuff, good drinkability still with a remarkable potential.
