Dark dense core with a slightly mature rim. Intense and layered nose blending dark fruit with plum, cassis, cherry, fine oak and cedar wood with tobacco and some spiciness like sage and aniseed. The palate has good weight and concentration, ripe but dense tannin, plenty of dark fruit, cherry, creme de cassis and liquorice notes, ripe and warm but with fine freshness and integrated oak, really long and muscular finish. A big wine with truly fine potential.
