Munia – Especial – 2011

Dense dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Intense nose combining pure dark fruit with some maturity and spiciness, a hint of black truffle, smoke, blackberry and discreet oak. The palate is dense and fleshy with a bold texture, ripe tannin, high but fairly integrated alcohol, layers of dark berries, plum and blackberry with some meatiness and a long, dense finish. Well-made in a big powerful style.
