Narbona – Pinot Noir – 2014

Uruguay,
Carmelo,
Inky dark black colour, intense tears colouring the glass, almost like a port. Ripe dark fruit, high ripeness and some dried notes like prune, fig, liquorice, tobacco and some balsamic notes. The palate is more restrained than the nose, medium to full with a fresh backbone, rather rounded tannic texture with inky dark fruit and spicy pepper/liquorice notes. Rather long finish, no noticeable oak, concentrated and ripe but rounded and ready to drink.
