Inky dark core and a garnet rim. New oak, almond, ripe cherry, plum and clove notes with a rather full palate, a youthful texture, tannins are ripe but highly present, a fresh acidity underneath and flavours of aniseed, sloe berry, plum and some oak leading to a long and lingering finish. Still youthful needing time to open.
