Inky dark purple core and hue with a slightly lighter rim. Ripe and modern nose with some balsamic notes, dried herbs, cassis, plum, blackberry, clove, pepper and some new oak underneath. The palate is dense and concentrated, dominated by lush dark fruit, rather rich in fine tannin, some dry wood/pepper notes with a meaty and long finish. Modern style, having reached some maturity and level of drinkability.
