Intense dark purple colour. Pure and youthful nose exhibiting cassis, dark cherry, tobacco and leather. Very tight and youthful palate with intense tannin still needing time to soften, nice layers of dark fruit, a hint of leather, and a long but tight finish. Ambitious but needing considerable time to soften.
