Pago de Cirsus – Cuvée Especial – 2011

Dark bright ruby red. Intense and modern nose of vanilla, new wood, plum and red berries, a bit oaky at first. The palate is rather full with roasted notes, sweet fruit, liquorice and aniseed notes, quite fleshy structure, long as well but still rather marked by new oak. Needs time.
