Deep ruby core but a mature tawny rim. Mature aromas of leather, prune, fig, cherry and dried fruit with a hint of oak and dry spices. Rather ample palate, mature, still with a tannic presence, dried fruit flavours, some herbal notes and a fairly long warm finish.
