Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Intense nose of ripe dark fruit with cassis and aromatic herbs. The palate is dense and concentrated, still with a tannic core, plenty of extract with prune, cassis and Kirsch flavours, slight alcohol noticeable on the finish, rather long persistency but a bit on the tannic side.
