Deep garnet red color. Layered nose sharing dry spices, pepper, cinnamon, cardamom with wild berries, plum, cherry liqueur, and tobacco with mild (old or used) oak in the background. Good proportions with refreshing and grainy tannin, a vivid acidity, giving a lift to the sweet fruit, balanced and nuanced with fine character, finishing with a long and lingering aftertaste.
