France,
Champagne,
Medium high intensity here, with a very light golden nuance. Some maturity, the bubbles appear medium sized. Fine nose here, good purity. Quite vinous, this one. There is a certain maturity here, a certain complexity. This is more on the Chardonnay dominance to me. I get hints of some white flower, hazelnut, fresh butter, and more on the yellow fruity side like peach and apricot. And a certain level of complexity as well. Good bite on the palate here. I really like that grip, freshness. Quite low in terms of dosage, it feels fairly dry. Really bright acidity here. I think the mousse is nicely integrated here. Good creaminess and then attractive yellow fruit on top of that; some fresh pineapple, grapefruit, ripe citrus. Some of those leesy notes emerging on the finish, like fresh butter, slight creaminess. Overall I think I would call this a medium weight, but I think it has a nice flavour intensity, long finish. With good nuttiness and a certain level of complexity. Quite complex in a more vinous, grower style, I would say. With an emphasis of Chardonnay.
