Petrolo – Sanpetrolo – 2004

Dark brown with a green rim indicating age and oxidation. Intense nose, dried fruit, figs, dates, balsamic notes, liquorice and smoke. The palate has an immense sweetness, viscous texture and hints of prune puré, impressive and rich but a bit cloying.
