Italy,
Trentino,
Quite pale colour. Already developed with a light ruby core, more orange towards the rim. Pure and fresh nose. Quite youthful with delicate red fruit. Hints of Roséhip, raspberry, some mild spices. Some orange peel and clove. Still a bit youthful needs some time to open up. Medium weight on the palate. It has a good bite and flavour intensity. It appears far younger on the palate than on the nose. There is still a slight tannic presence. I get some bitter, not negatively but fine bitter notes. Almost like Campari, without those macerated cherry notes, orange peel. So it adds a nice spiciness to it. It is quite layered. There is already a hint of complexity. Fine spiciness. Good length as well. It stays in the medium body frame. More of an elegant style with length and harmony. I would put back in the cellar for another one to two years and from then on it should have a nicely softer texture and drink really well.
