Italy,
Tuscany,
Red wine with a certain evolution here, the rim is quite brick-coloured with a light ruby core. Quite exotic nose here, there’s some hints of mint, wild herbs, quite sweet fruit almost like baked fruit, cooked plum, vanilla, wood and tobacco. Good grip on the palate, quite full-bodied. Still in the youthful phase with quite grippy tannin there, quite marked tannin, with that dried spiciness going on there; I find almost like Christmas cake or gingerbread in terms of spiciness. Dried wood, cedar wood, discreet fruit. A rather long finish. I think it’s a wine that certainly has the potential to keep developing. I find the tannins maybe a bit marked right now. We should put it back in the cellar for a while, but it certainly has the quality to keep evolving.
