Intense opaque core but with an aged lighter rim. Intense nose, pure yet mature with fine evolution, layers of dark fruit, cassis, dark cherry, sage, mint, plum some oak and tobacco. The palate is dense and full bodied, still with a tannic bite but considerably softer than it must have been in its youth, finely spicy with pure cassis notes and a very long spicy finish. Good grip and character with fine evolution.
