Medium deep ruby red colour. Pure and generous nose offering ripe red fruit, sweet plum, coffee bean, pepper, ginger and clove. The palate is rather ample with ripe red fruit flavours, still a youthful tannic grip, layered and spicy with a well maintained acidity givong a lift to the sweet fruit flavours, well built and long finish. still needing 1-2 years to soften.
