Pierre Sourdais – Réserve Stanislas – 2019

Inky dark dense colour with a purple hue. Pure and fragrant with ripe cassis, blackberry, sage, bay leaf, cocoa and coffee bean. The palate shows good density with a fresh backbone, finely chiseled tannins and discreet oak (used or larger oak it seems) underneath. Savoury dark fruit with good flavour intensity and pulp, finely tuned and digest with a very fine length.
