Inky dark purple core. Rather sweet and generous nose of new oak, dried herbs, dill, sweet red and dark fruit. The palate is medium to full with fine roundness and evolution, smooth tannin, dark berry, mint and chocolate flavours, and some complexity and layers with good length. More in the style of a fine Rioja Reserva with good maturity and drinkability.
