Plaimont – Alteus – 2011

France,
Sud Ouest,
Very dark ruby/purple color, the nose is young with hints of violet, dark berries, cassis and mild spices. The palate offers rather ripe sweet fruit and notes of cassis, yet with a classical backbone of firm tannin, good sense of freshness and promising length, a wine built for the cellar.
