Plaimont – Le Faîte – 2014

Youthful appearance here, with a light straw colour, hint of green as well. Young and fresh on the nose here, good purity of fruit and no evidence of oak. Displaying rather hints of ripe lemon, green apple and pear. Medium weight on the palate here, it has a certain depth, a bit more expressive than on the nose which was still quite youthful here. Good amount of freshness here with some of those flavours of some lemon infused, apple and pear flavours. There is a slight hint of extract as well, a slight hint of phenolics, adding a balanced bitterness on the finish, with hints of lemon zest, on the medium towards long finish.
