Plo de Maorou – Maurou – 2014

Dark ruby red colour. Intense nose with ripe fruit, some jam and blackberry with bay leaf and herbs. The palate has a dense core of ripe fruit, grainy tannin and plenty of volume, a bit of oak well concealed, nice spiciness and garrigue notes, attractive sweet fruit and a long lingering finish. Very nice drinkability yet with a structure for long ageing.
