Poderi Moretti – Benedet – 2015

Light ruby colour with an orange/tawny rim. Fine and intense perfume of chocolate praline, sweet cherry, dry spices and floral notes. Medium weight on the palate, still a youthful texture with a firm tannic core and high acidity. Fresh red berry flavours and a generous spiciness leading to a long finish. Still a bit youthful and austere needing time to soften, yet a fine potential.
