Poderi Moretti – Occhetti – 2016

Medium deep ruby red colour with a tawny hue and rim. Floral and sweet perfume of red cherry, raspberry, pain d’épices and chocolate. Rather broad and mouth filling with plenty of fine tannin, layers of sweet red fruit, good intensity, balance, and a long lingering finish. Good to drink now but fine potential for further ageing.
