Intense black purple core. Spicy nose of Chinese herbs, aniseed, liquorice and dark fruit. Very dense palate, some roasted oak flavours not notable on the nose, ripe, dark and dense but still unresolved with plenty of dry spices and a rather long finish. Should need some more time to soften and gain nuance.
