Italy,
Tuscany,
The colour seems fairly developed here, medium intense ruby-red. Bright, quite a fine nose here. Well-balanced with some primary fruit, quite sweet, mainly red fruit such as; cherry, plum, redcurrant. There is also a mild spiciness such as vanilla and clove. Slight hint of wood but fine integration of it. Just a hint of vanilla, some tobacco as well. Good bite on the palate. The nose starts out quite discreetly. The palate has more substance and weight but already polished in terms of texture and tannin. There is a good freshness there and really lively crunchy red fruit. With those juicy cherry notes. Good length, it certainly keeps lingering and it is starting to approach a certain complexity. Beyond the primary fruit, we have a lot of fun spiciness going on, on the finish. Yeah, an attractive wine with good drinkability today, but should have a really fine potential as well.
