Medium deep ruby with an aged rim. The nose is on the balsamic/volatile side with dried tomato and red fruit aromas and a herbal spiciness. Rather dense and full palate, with sweet red fruit, very distinct acidity and young but ripe tannin, slightly purer and more vital palate than nose, good length too, just a bit volatile on the nose, otherwise fine.
